Karen Bryant joined Leadership Howard County in 2008 and manages the overall organization-wide messaging, communications, media, advertising, social marketing and business development strategies.

Karen’s extensive background in the nonprofit sector began when she was with the United Way of Central Maryland.  A certified grant writer, Karen has also worked as a contractual writer and is an active community volunteer. Karen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in Psychology and Sociology, and a Master of Arts Notre Dame of Maryland University in Adulthood and Aging.
